I tried investing in Domains
I have been investing in Mutual funds, Stocks but recently I got to know about investing in domains (Whattt…)
When I looked into it, actually it's a vast market for domains. there are a lot of big companies that are providing a platform to sell the domains, GoDaddy, Namecheap, just a few of those.
So how does it work?
It's simple, you find a name and buy a domain for the same, now you just have to add your domain in domain marketplaces with some price on it. people interested in that name can bid for your domain and eventually it will be sold and you will get the amount.
But there is a small problem, finding a meaningful full domain name is a tricky business, almost all the good .com are already bought by someone or they are quite expensive.
so back to my story, I got carried away and bought around 15 domains in order to sell them, I added them on GoDaddy, Namecheap, and some domain forums like NamePros. As I said this is an investment and it will require some time for someone to look for the domain that I have.
So a suggestion to you, If you find some valuable keyword domain name for cheap, just buy it. It will definitely be worth more in the future.
